Nice flat course, plentiful refreshments, a generous raffle — it’s a race by runners for runners! Try it next year.” More..

People say they love our Events, I like to provide the best running event on Long Island; I am so appreciative of your participation and it is like I am inviting you to my home. You are my guest for the day; let me introduce you to my great uncle, Dr. Morton Berson, he painted the image for the t-shirt about 75 years ago in Piraeus, Greece. He was restoring faces of children damaged from the Greek Civil War and World World War ll. He received citations from the Greek government for his work. He was a pioneer in plastic surgery and wrote the book, Atlas of Plastic Surgery. He traveled all over the world with his wife, Sarah Evelyn Cooper Berson, Miss Kentucky 1938, giving lectures on reconstructive surgery. There are very few links for his work as an artist. Dr. Berson did receive an award and certificate for his painting in san Francisco at the 1972 American Physicians Art Association.
